If I strengthen my grip, then I don't have to put the wrist more in more flexion. For me, I lose a little bit of impact quality if I start trying to set up with too much flexion of the lead wrist.

Hmm. Anatomically, external rotation of the shoulder should help the motorcycle move. The motorcycle move, shouldn't change the path significantly but if it does it should make the clubhead path a little more shallow because of the coupled movement …
