Re: 2 o clock finish keys?

Thank you for helping me understand this! I’m going to circle back to this one, had some shallowing breakthroughs so it’s back to transition and release. I’m sure I’ll be back on this side of the swing before too long. :)

Thank you for those. I feel like the look I want is more Scheffler, but I’m built much more like Tyrell and when I look at what he’s doing it makes physical sense to me.
My left shoulder girdle is also not the strongest part of me, so maybe I’m best…

Hi Tyler!

Do I look to be understanding the objective?
I think this is getting better.

There were a couple of pieces I’ve had to go back and get; your ‘side bending through the ground’ video helped a lot with the hip slide, and then I’ve had to re…

Thank you so much, and happy new year to you! I feel like I’m zeroing on this set of feels, but also like I’m flying a bit blind. I’ve been boning up on anatomy some since starting GSA(ha ha), so if this is not it, would you be so kind as to tell me…

Hi Tyler!

I got excited and wrote a bunch of words when you asked what this feels like and I potentially jumped the gun.
This is a very new set of feels and only just starting to become less elusive. Before I get too carried away, is this what we’r…

These are my impressions; I’ll put them down and then organize them afterward. I’ll try and do justice to your question.

It is a massively different feel, and not easy for me to get to consistently just yet.

Hey Tyler, happy solstice.

I feel like it was a year ago, blowing up your inbox like this. This is just a large visible piece falling into place, I think. I’ll continue to refine my bracing strategies but I think you’ve really given me something cr…

It this more like it? I feel like it is, but I’m often wrong when it comes to this pursuit.

Makes perfect sense. I was hoping I would look more elegant, but I’m getting Zach Johnson hitting PW vibes.

Is what I said.

Then, I realized that you said what you said, and that I would have to do the work to find out what I needed to feel. I als…

See? This is why saying “I’m getting it” is bad!!

Although, I think I have had more insight. I’ve been coming at the problem from an arm swing perspective, wondering what happens after impact during a proper slow motion rehearsal. Does the un relea…

Ok, so I’ve learned to be leery of the phrase “I think I’m getting it,” but how’s this looking?

I took your idea about lead scap bracing to mean a mirror to the right shoulder “pack” from the backswing- is that correct? Is this the idea, scapula wi…

Lower body asleep

  By: Zach F on Nov. 25, 2024, 12:49 p.m.

Hi Tyler!

From this rear view I can tell I have an upper dominated transition. I’m thinking step drills, lower body slowly but early, trail leg push, and Jackson 5 videos. Is there anything else you would recommend?

TIA

2 o clock finish keys?

  By: Zach F on Nov. 21, 2024, 4:07 p.m.

Hi Tyler!
I found your keys to a successful finish position (follow through to finish video for those who may be curious) enormously helpful.
I’ve recently started focusing more on integrating 10-2 swings into my practice(only took me a year haha).…

Address tilts and heights vs impact and UD

Hi Tyler; two address question here.

Question one:
Pardon the crude drawing, and I’m not sure why it won’t upload in a vertical orientation, but question number one regards the progression of the angle formed between the torso and the inmost femur(…
