Where to start? ¶

Hey all, I am relatively new to golf and a new subscriber. Where would be the best place to start? Just looking for the best drills to start with based upon my swing.

As a new golfer, I recommend the "Build My Stock Swing" course as a good starting off point. As a new golfer, you have a handful of things to work on and which will be more enjoyable depends a lot on your background and awareness. https://www.golfsmartacademy.com/courses/build-my-stock-swing/
Some people would start more with positions. You do a really good job at staying in your posture, but your upper body dominates the downswing. This is a normal starting point for new golfers, but causes contact and direction issues. Some people figure it out better by focusing on the club brushing the ground. Since ultimately the club interaction with the ball/ground is all that matters, this can help make the body work better. Others have a harder time feeling the club and do better focusing on body movements and checkpoints. If you go that route, then I'd work on your follow through position first. Then your impact position. Good luck!
Happy Golfing,
Tyler
