Verifying what I should be working on

Tyler, first time posting a swing in this forum. I've been filming my swing each time I can get to the sim. Below is an example. I've got a couple things from this I know need work and am hoping to get your opinion on what my priorities should be. 1. Outside takeaway. I've always sucked the club inside so maybe I've been overdoing those drills lately. 2. Top of swing: A bit of overswing in the backswing and get a bit of reverse spine tilt in the process. 3. Transition: Leaning into the target, not getting the hips out front Arms look steep? Arms are behind body. 4. Impact/Follow through Loss of posture into impact/early arm extension?

Here you go Kyle, a few ideas on how to work on your swing, especially your impact position. Happy Golfing, Tyler

Tyler, Thanks for the the feedback. I've been doing the Delivery and Go drill and Delivery Pump drill. Is there any other specific impact drills you'd recommend?

Kyle, Delivery and go and delivery pump is a good place to start. What to compliment it with depends on how it looks when you do those drills. Feel free to post a video of delivery and go and/or delivery pump and we can fine tune it. Happy Golfing, Tyler

I've been doing the D&G drill on the range for 2 weeks now. Its definitely given me a good start to feeling better delivery. I've got two questions for it that would help me out. 1. I understand minimizing/eliminating a backswing, however do recommend presetting the rotation of the hips before starting down? Two different videos show different starting positions so I want to clarify. 2. For the most part I have a good success rate for good contact. However on bad days I struggle with hosel shots while doing this drill. It would make sense if the hands are not working in through the release that this would happen, but I wanted to see if you dealt with it before. I'll take a video and post it here later today or tomorrow. Thanks, Kyle

Hi Kyle, 1. For most people, a little preset of the hips is easier. 2. Moving low-point forward should make it hit more on the heel. A lot of amateurs with low point backward start hitting it on the heel when they get a better impact line or shaft lean. Usually this is corrected from weight distribution or posture (turtle shell). Or with resetting their awareness. Often a yoga block or box outside the ball gives enough feedback to avoid hitting the heel. Happy Golfing, Tyler

Tyler, Thanks for the info! I've attached two angles from me doing D&G drill on Friday. Please let me know if you see anything I should be concerned with, both were good contact but the second(face-on) was a better rep.
