Flip Stall Rotation Connection

So I've been fighting a closed lower body from DTL and a stall flip look from FO.

Im looking for a unifying thought or a pair of fixes one upper/release one lower to fix it up.

Here in the comparison shot I have my stock swing on the left and on the right I have my attempt at stretching and opening my left side earlier.

To me it looks like I HAVE axis tilt in my spine and legs in both cases and it just turns out I stall more hang back more and cast/flip more as a reaction.

I'm not sure what ideas/drills I should work on to inch this closer.
Once again my thoughts are there is some sort of upper body change that needs to coincide with the lower body stuff.

Or maybe I just need to be more stacked in some way?

Hi Joey,

I think the unifying link is your arm action, more than your body action. I think you're more comfortable working on body ideas, but as long as the arms are that far behind you and not working more in front of your body through the release, you'll have to stand up and stall to close the face and get the club down to the ground.

I'd be curious what your single arm releases or 9 to 3 looks like. See if the arms have the same pattern.

Thanks for the response. I made some big changes in between my post and response. I would say my swing has always been mainly torso and arm feels.

The break through moment was when I was watching swings and thinking about the 111 degree angle shown in the photos below.

1. I realized that I had no concept of regaining flex in my trail leg. I was basically holding my trail leg steady while beginning my lead leg and pelvis rotation. Almost thinking it would just naturally get me here. I completely changed my intention there in my slomo swings more into sitting on a stool behind my left glute and twist in it.

2. From there I had some minor changes in how my torso needed to transition into delivery.

Interestingly enough I started doing 1 arm drills this morning after realizing how my body orientation would change how that moved through space.
