Deep Divots and Divots to the left

Hi, new GSA subscriber here. Biggest problem is consistent iron play. Divots are 3/8 deep and point to 10 o'clock (assuming noon is straight to target). Irons go mostly weak right, occasional pull left. Problem gets worse the longer the iron. I'd rather hit a 7 hybrid than a 6 iron. See 2 videos. Looking forward to your feedback. I've been going thru the Build your own stock swing course. I own a Hackmotion device. Thanks

Hi Rob,

With all golfers, I'd start at impact and the performance issue. In this case, Iron play and contact. If we look at your impact line, there's a few things causing issues. Your knees and hips are down close to the ground and your arms are behind your body, especially your right arm. You have to either fix both of those, or neither. If you're worried about the deep divots, then the lower body height change is a big deal and I would work there.
I'd add some slide feedback, a chair or a trashcan.

Then, challenge yourself if you're hitting behind the ball to use your arms being more in front to fix the low point instead of the slide.

Happy golfing and good luck,
Tyler
