The focus of this course is learning to use your hands to assist or resist the key movements of the golf swing and short game! You’ll learn techniques for the phases of the swing (takeaway, loading at the top, transition, release, bracing to finish) as well as for the key body parts (hands/wrists, scapula, rib cage, hips/pelvis). By sensing what muscles your student is using, you’ll have a glimpse into their brain and the power to activate new strategies for them.

00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:04.240
Hey coaches, I'm thrilled to announce the launch of our virtual version of the
2
00:00:04.240 --> 00:00:10.350
tactile coaching class, which is a recording of the live class that I did in
3
00:00:10.350 --> 00:00:10.720
Orlando at the
4
00:00:10.720 --> 00:00:14.740
beginning of the year. In this class, I go over my favorite tactile drill. So,
5
00:00:14.740 --> 00:00:15.840
tactile drills are
6
00:00:15.840 --> 00:00:19.120
where I put my hands on the students and help guide the key movements of the
7
00:00:19.120 --> 00:00:20.320
golf swing. But I also
8
00:00:20.320 --> 00:00:25.480
went over my key self-discovery drills. So, they can either be their drills
9
00:00:25.480 --> 00:00:26.720
that you could do on
10
00:00:26.720 --> 00:00:30.370
your own that your students can do to reinforce what you communicate with the
11
00:00:30.370 --> 00:00:31.200
tactile drills,
12
00:00:31.200 --> 00:00:36.180
or you can use them to help organize your group classes so that you can get
13
00:00:36.180 --> 00:00:36.720
more touch points
14
00:00:36.720 --> 00:00:40.080
and work on a bunch of people at the same time. To understand why we're
15
00:00:40.080 --> 00:00:41.680
focusing on these movements
16
00:00:41.680 --> 00:00:45.750
and these drills, I go through a handful of lectures where I'm going to cover
17
00:00:45.750 --> 00:00:47.680
the key movements of the
18
00:00:47.680 --> 00:00:52.720
body and how the body is producing these movements in the golf swing. This will
19
00:00:52.720 --> 00:00:53.440
help you understand
20
00:00:53.440 --> 00:00:58.090
how the 3D data, the force plate data, the launch monitor data, the forces in
21
00:00:58.090 --> 00:00:58.960
the handle data,
22
00:00:58.960 --> 00:01:02.920
they all relate to these key movements of the golf swing. So, if you purchase
23
00:01:02.920 --> 00:01:03.920
the class, you will
24
00:01:03.920 --> 00:01:08.770
get the full recorded videos. We record it every moment of the class, so it'll
25
00:01:08.770 --> 00:01:09.920
basically feel like
26
00:01:09.920 --> 00:01:14.270
you're attending live, but just from the comfort of your own home. You'll also
27
00:01:14.270 --> 00:01:15.360
get the PDFs for each
28
00:01:15.360 --> 00:01:20.340
of the sections so that you can either highlight or see the pieces that I might
29
00:01:20.340 --> 00:01:21.520
not have mentioned
30
00:01:21.520 --> 00:01:25.520
explicitly or lay it out in a little bit more systematic way and it'll provide
31
00:01:25.520 --> 00:01:26.480
a platform for
32
00:01:26.480 --> 00:01:30.310
you to take notes because there are some things that I discussed that I think
33
00:01:30.310 --> 00:01:31.680
are really good nuggets
34
00:01:31.680 --> 00:01:35.780
that weren't explicitly laid out in the manual. So, that's where you can do the
35
00:01:35.780 --> 00:01:38.080
reinforcement. So,
36
00:01:38.080 --> 00:01:42.290
whether you are a experienced golf coach, a new golf coach, or even if you're
37
00:01:42.290 --> 00:01:43.520
just a passionate golfer
38
00:01:43.520 --> 00:01:46.820
and you want to understand how the body works in the golf swing, I think this
39
00:01:46.820 --> 00:01:47.760
is the class for you.
40
00:01:48.480 --> 00:01:53.460
So, if you're ready to add a new skill to your toolbox of learning how to move
41
00:01:53.460 --> 00:01:54.400
your students
42
00:01:54.400 --> 00:01:59.200
or guide the movements with your hands, I highly recommend you check out our
43
00:01:59.200 --> 00:02:00.240
new program,
44
00:02:00.240 --> 00:02:04.630
the virtual version of this tactile coaching class. I only hope that you get as
45
00:02:04.630 --> 00:02:05.120
much out of
46
00:02:05.120 --> 00:02:09.270
the virtual version as the live attendees got out of the class when I taught it
47
00:02:09.270 --> 00:02:10.160
in Orlando.
