What does the AI actually analyze?
The AI detects your body positions at each phase of the swing (address, takeaway, top, downswing, impact, follow-through) and measures joint angles, weight distribution, and club path. It then identifies which positions are causing your miss pattern and prioritizes what to fix first.
How long does it take?
About 10 minutes from upload to full diagnosis. You will get an email when your analysis is ready, so you do not need to wait on the page.
Is it free?
Yes. AI Swing Analysis is available to all Golf Smart Academy members, including free trial users. Sign up for a free trial and upload your swing right away.
What video should I record?
Record one full swing per video, up to 60 seconds. For the best results, upload two angles: down the line (camera behind you, aimed along your target line) and face-on (camera facing you). One angle works too. Use good lighting and show your full body from head to feet.
How accurate is the AI?
The AI is trained on Tyler Ferrell's teaching methodology and cross-referenced against 1,100+ video lessons. It reliably identifies the main swing faults and prioritizes fixes the same way a coach would. It is in beta and improving with every analysis.
