Headcover Swings

The golf club is basically a weight on a string. Yes, there are some things that make it seem more like a rigid object, but during impact, it's not. I have yet to see someone swing a headcover and not have the right timing of when the arms fire, so it is a great training tool for identifying the timing of when the arms start to extend during the downswing. The ideal time for them to start firing, is around when the club is furthest away from the target. During the early part of the downswing, the club is moving away from the target, so if you want to maximize your swing, you have to wait until at least halfway down during the downswing.
