00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:05,000
This is the setup drill circuit. So this is just giving you an idea of how you can practice
00:00:05,000 --> 00:00:12,000
your setup in an easy to follow drill circuit to work on each of the major pieces.
00:00:12,000 --> 00:00:16,000
So first piece we're going to look at is the grip. I'm going to practice taking my
00:00:16,000 --> 00:00:21,000
grip the way that works for me based on what I explained in the grip video. Second one
00:00:21,000 --> 00:00:27,000
I'm going to do is ball position. So I'm going to practice getting my body in alignment
00:00:27,000 --> 00:00:33,000
or in orientation to the golf ball. So it'll be something like that. Third piece I'm
00:00:33,000 --> 00:00:39,000
going to add is foot turn out. Then I'm going to hinge it my hips and then lastly I'm going
00:00:39,000 --> 00:00:44,000
to find two my alignment. So if my shoulder got high or low or any of the side till I'm
00:00:44,000 --> 00:00:50,000
going to work on that. So we'll do it again facing this way. So let go of the grip. Start
00:00:50,000 --> 00:00:56,000
over first piece. I'm going to practice putting my hands on in my right grip. Okay? I want
00:00:56,000 --> 00:01:02,000
to get to where I can do that relatively quickly. Next piece I'm going to measure my distance
00:01:02,000 --> 00:01:10,000
and I'm going to work on ball position. Foot turn out. Hinge from the hips and then I'm going
00:01:10,000 --> 00:01:17,000
to find two my alignment so that I'm aimed with this stick. Good. If I was using this as a
00:01:17,000 --> 00:01:25,000
practice circuit then what I can do is I can take my setup process run through it and then after
00:01:25,000 --> 00:01:29,000
I've done it a couple times hit a golf ball run through it a couple more times hit a golf ball.
00:01:29,000 --> 00:01:34,000
The brain loves these repetitions and by going through it it'll make it that much more easier
00:01:34,000 --> 00:01:39,000
for you to do it under pressure. So I'll demonstrate one time kind of all the way through. So
00:01:39,000 --> 00:01:47,000
you're going to check the grip. Got it. Check the distance from the ball. Ball position left foot
00:01:47,000 --> 00:01:56,000
turn out. Hinge from the hips. Get your alignment and then go ahead and swing.
