Looking for advice on how to make my swing more consistent

I’ve been working on my golf swing on mostly my own for a number of years and I’ve reached the point where I want to get more serious about it. I’ve attached some clips of my swing with an 8 iron. Generally my backswing doesn’t feel very great. I’m able to use this move while playing for the most part, until I have an off day and it falls apart completely. I struggle with my long irons(4-5) off the ground. I realize my takeaway is very inside and I’m not exactly sure how to fix it. Something about my backswing makes my head raise up and sometimes when my timing is off, my contact is very poor, usually resulting in impact behind the ball or thin shots while connecting with a slight upward AoA. Side note: I’ve been watching some videos about the adductor frisbee and the adductor merry go round and it’s given me some really good feels in my legs that I was missing. Thanks for taking a look

Hey Derek, Thanks for posting your swing. Here's a quick discussion video about your inside takeaway and long iron contact issues. Let me know if you have any questions. Happy Golfing, Tyler

Hey Tyler, Thanks for taking the time to look at my swing. I do have some further questions. When referring to a video of Nelly Korda I notice as she’s extending her chest near the top of her backswing her head doesn’t raise, she almost gets lower. I notice this across most pro videos I watch. In my case, when I have the left side bend and chest extension at the top of the swing, am I raising up because I’m losing the left side bend? For now I’m having issues with keeping my head positioned relatively still. Once I start the takeaway and start to bend to the left, my head seems to tilt along with it, not unlike what you see in my swing video. I feel like I’m having a hard time keeping the positioning of my head and neck separated from my shoulders. When I rotate my shoulders standing straight up on a level plane I can rotate around my head without it turning, but for some reason when using the bent over plane of the golf swing, coupled with the left side bend during the takeaway, my head feels like it’s just along for the ride. Since coming across one of your videos giving me an idea of pinching something between my right pec and front of shoulder, it’s started to remove a bit of that trail arm getting behind me and staying more connected with my arms in front of me. I’ve also been working at eliminating that early extension. I’ve noticed that I’ve got an anterior pelvic tilt going into the delivery position of my swing which is causing my trail knee to buckle towards the ball a bit. It’s also hurting my lower back. Going through your stock swing course, I saw you had mentioned using posterior pelvic tilt, making it so I’m able to sort of straighten both legs while also giving that face on look like my trail knee is internally rotated. Would you have a specific video or advice that could help me re-train that movement? Thanks again for getting back to me and I’ll continue to work on these your suggestions until I get things sorted out.
