Physical or conceptual reasons for not being able to translate baseball rotation

Hi Tyler! I bought a rope bat for my daughter who’s in softball, and I’ve been using it in an effort to cross train my impact rotation across sports disciplines. Using the rope bat, I’ve managed to achieve impact conditions(disassociation, rotation, a bent trail arm and thoracic spine extension) that I’d absolutely love to see in my golf swing, but have thus far been unable to achieve. It’s frustrating; the same keys and feels just don’t seem to translate. Anything pop out at you ? As always, Thank you so much and Namaste

No sport is a perfect parallel to the golf swing, but baseball has some common challenges that don't translate. Looking at baseball impact is like looking at a perfect recipe for a face-open chunk shank. Same thing in your picture, low point, and the club face would be out of whack if you actually hit a golf ball like that. And the shoulders would be way to dominant for a good golf flat spot. It probably helps build speed, but I'm skeptical the speed gain would offset the club delivery issues. Tyler
