Lag putts

My lag putting 30 ft & out is suspect! Usually read the green correctly, tracking toward fall line (hole) but mostly come up short. I'm thinking the putter head is coming up to quick after impact & the through swing is much longer than the backswing. Interested to see what you think?
Thanks

Are you saying that most of your lag putts come up short?
I think that there are two things to look at with your speed control. 1 - you have some extra lower body rotation through impact. That adds a little extra and typically makes speed control more challenging. 2 - it appears to me that your upper body lunges forward a bit through the ball and your arms have a little extra hit in them. I think a feeling of your upper body working in more side bend, and less lunge, would help improve both of those. I like to see higher finishes, it's usually a sign of better shoulder motion. Take a look at Brad Faxon hitting a lag putt.
