Help on short putts

Hello, I am really struggling on short putts. I feel like I am trying to stab at the ball. Bringing the putter back feels fine, but I think something is going wrong when I transition to the forward swing. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks. I have started going through your putting course, and I think I am not allowing the putter head to come up off the ground after hitting the ball? Or would there be very little raising of the putter head on short putts? To add I don’t feel like I have issues with medium and long putts. Also don’t mind my kids yelling and jumping in the background lol

Hi Scott, It does look like the release is a little armsy. You can see that there is a pretty good recoil of the club just post-impact. That usually only happens on a short put if you are hitting more from the wrists. To try and get a little more shoulder contribution, I'd start with the chopstick drill or I'd start with single-arm putts to see which arm is delivering more of the hit. Good luck,
