Putting Percentages - Keeping a realistic perspective

Many of you have probably seen the chart below. It outlines the average make and 3 putt percentage from different distances on the green. Amateurs frequently overestimate how many putts from 10 feet they should make. Roughly knowing your odds will help you better manage your emotions on the course.
But, not all putts are created equally. If you're looking at the advance strategy, then factor in where your putt is compared to the fall line. The clock shows the percentage of putts made for a 10-foot putt. Your personal make percentages may vary slightly, but you probably prefer right-to-left or left-to-right putts more. When chipping, if you can leave uphill putts with your favorite break, you'll be more likely to score better.

Tyler-Do you have an explanation based on facts or an idea why most golfers prefer right to left breaking putts over left to right ones? Thanks!

I don't know if there is a perfect answer, but one that makes sense to me is that it's based on face tendencies. Most golfers are right-handed, and most of those golfers error on having the face slightly open to the path. In that scenario, you have more margin of error on right to left putts.
I, personally, have a tendency to have the face closed to the path, so my preference is on left to right over right to left. :)
