Hi George, and welcome! I would recommend posting videos of your swing in this forum, both from face on and down the line. What ails you? You can use the Mulligan AI feature to diagnose issues with contact and ball flight, and it’s gotten quite good at steering you in the right direction. As for video feedback, Tyler tries to check on us on Sundays. In the meantime, if you have any questions I’ll help if I can! Zach

Hey Zach, thanks for this! What would be really useful is what would make the biggest difference to fixing my hook/pull hook. I can't aim left and hook as it just hooks worse (if that helps). Attached is FO and DTL. All the best

A lot of good stuff going on your move! Fellow hooker here too. I’m not quite sure where Tyler will start you; a lot of times with better players I see him work the release first, but the main thing that jumps out to me is a steep arm pull down in transition(see pic). That causes you to have to early extend to shallow it out at the bottom, which brings path and contact issues into play. I’d definitely wait for the big dog to check in, but I also don’t see any harm in browsing through the transition section, or even just typing steep arm pull down in the Mulligan search bar. Welcome in man, and enjoy the site! Zach

Thanks Zach! Appreciate the help and I'll go check the pulling arms topics. Can you see my issue? There are a lot of things wrong (or right) in my swing so I find myself chasing topics like late early extension in the downswing or steepness in backswing. I think with everything golf it takes time to work on a fix and actually give it time to work and I don't have enough to make a call and feel that I can stick to it. All the best!

Hi George, You're in good hands with Zach's help. But let me see if I can help corral things for you. You have a pretty well balanced swing, but the balance is with slightly steep arms and then a shallower body movement. Depending on your time frame, I'd usually start with 9 to 3 and release drills to see if the issue is more related to how you create power or how you deliver control. If you can get the 9 to 3 right, then your brain gets a shapshot of what good contact should feel like and it has an idea of where to try to get back to. Can you send a swing of you trying a 9 to 3? Happy golfing, Tyler

Hey George! Let’s slow things down a little; it’s hard to work on a car when it’s going 65 down the highway. Overall, getting the release on a better place first will make transition work more effective . To start, I’d check out the “unhinge then supinate” video on the site. If you type that in the search bar it’ll be the first video that pops up. This spot you get in at P6, with the clubface above the hands and the face a little closed, is smother hook city. In practice, I’d personally shoot to have it slightly behind the hands and if anything a little below, when you’re working these slow 9 to 3s. Once you have your release in a less hooky place, then we can tackle the transition. My videos posted out of order, the last one is meant to be first. Cheers! Zach
