Forearm rotation rebound?

Hey Tyler!
I’m wondering about the supination impulse in the release, and if it might experience a rebound effect.
The reason I ask is I see coaches, especially coaches who hit pull fades, teaching a hold off release where the forearms never roll over, and that’s just something I do not see in high level swings. One of the reasons they point to is an “open” clubface at the finish for tour pros, with the leading edge more parallel to the ground, and I’m wondering if that clubface orientation might be explained due to a rebound effect, similar to what we see with Rory’s hips, as the forearms reach their end range of motion and kind of roll back the other direction afterwards. The best example I can find is Jon Rahm, who hits the pull cut as well as anyone out there and also demonstrates a high level of forearm rotation deep into the followthrough but then shows a relatively “open” clubface at the finish. Wilco Nienaber re-hinges his lead elbow sooner so the DTL effect isn’t as pronounced, but from face on you can certainly see the pronounced forearm rotation(clubface points toward ground at about P8.25) and then the “open” clubface at finish. I wondered if you’ve seen any 3D data to support my notion. TIA!
