Comments on recent Zoom Call

Tyler, I apologize for not being on the last Zoom call as I was pulled away at the last minute from being on the call. I would like your feedback on the two students I had sent in. I would like to give to a little more background information on those students. The first student with the bucket hat where we only had a face on. He was a very good junior player(played in US Jr Amateur) and a great driver of the ball. As he grew taller and stronger he lost face control of the driver. He had big misses mainly right. He always had a very strong grip and against my wishes he changed his grip to a neutral grip. He also started doing some heavy lifting of weights and again was against my wishes. Not sure how these changes effected his game but believe they had a negative effect. He has not played for one year because of a heart inflammation from covid. We are trying to get his game back. I recently started using sportsbox It showed his turn ranges were okay his sway ranges were okay his side bend was okay It showed he was out of range at impact on lift where he was 2.1 and the range should be more like .5 and also at forward swing Horizontal he was at 2.9 and should be more like 1.8 . You mentioned you thought he would benefit from shoulder blade connection(not sure what that means) My second student you looked at struggles with mid and long irons not launching them high enough and under the gun in competition he can get stuck in the downswing and hits blocks. I wanted to give you feedback on what sportsbox said- Where he was out of the sportsbox ranges was Chest bend at forward swing(chest) club parallel he was 13 and should be around -1 Sway(chest) at Forward swing club parallel he was .4 and should be around -1.7 Side bend Down swing club parrallel pelvis was -2 should be 7 chest was -15 should be around 16 In his turns downswing swing club parrallel pelvis was 4 should be around 25 chest was -21 should be around 5 Sorry for all this late information no need to hurry on your response but I do value all of your wealth of knowledge.
