What is the best 3D machine today to work with students on the market, not research?

+David A Hello David, Nice to meet again in the cyber space:-) It would be nice to have sway, thrust and lift. I have returned my GEARS equipment as it became to expensive in the long run although I learned a ton by using it and studying the big guys like Rory, Dustin, Finau and Rahm etc... Today I am using the K-Coach and I am extremely happy with it. But I am always looking for better combos and yes sway, thrust and lift would be good. What do You suggest? What according to You is the best and most affordable system on the market today. All the best, Henrik

+Henrik L Henrik, There are not many systems out there that measure STL. Inertials systems calculate it and it's sometimes off. As you already have an inertial system I wouldn't recommend getting another one. So therefore I can only think of Polhemus hardware. You could try to find an AMM walkabout system with TPI software. (3 sensors) Or with the same polhemus G4 you could use Bull3D software, which is amazing by the way. You can even connect 6 G4 sensors with Bull3D. Regarding the price I don't really know. Second hand AMM3D systems seems hard to find today. You could always get a brand new system through Mark Bull though. I dunno the pricing, I can ask him if you which. Let me know. I will continue thinking about that and see if I can come up with something different. Cheers David

Hello everyone, At the moment I am using MySwing Pro System that has 6 Dof... honesty I don’t know how is accurate on the linear motion and the Avatar in the software is amazing both for the comunication with the students and to have a better understand of the graph! Normally we need about 10-15 mins to dress on and calibration... the price is about 6K Euro. Ciao. Alessio.

+Alessio B Hi Alessio, Henrik used to have a Myswing system. STL are calculated, not badly but not the same accuracy as an electromagnetic system. Also the lack of updates doesn't really give that system a bright future sadly. Cheers David
