Transition/shallowing/lead arm

Tyler,
Do you have any preferences or data in transition in terms or the lead arm angle paired with shallowing? (Ie 2d video lead arm depth compared to shaft angle and trail arm supination?) also does this have any effect on gfr and trail leg bend in release? Thanks for everything and look forward to your response.

+Kellen E As far as shallowing, on 3D you'll typically see this in the lead arm pronation. See the blue line dip in the attached graph below. A good average would be around 10 degrees of lead arm pronation in transition.
Keep in mind that the trail forearm is actually pronating during transition as it shallows, while golfers that steepen are typically supinating. This is mostly because of the shoulder movements, not the forearm movements.
I'm not sure if there is a strong connection between the shallow and the trail leg bend. But there probably is. For me, the leg buckle issue through a release is a sign that the hit is coming more from the arms (trail arm internal rotation primarily). I'll have a little downtime next week, maybe I'll take a look at it for you.
