Transition/Early extension

Hello GSA community, i've been a member for a month now and thought i'd post my first swing review. Par 5 tee shot with a 3 wood. My main observations/questions:
1) Right shoulder rounded at setup, would love to have a straighter back angle.
2) Takeaway looks okay but i could have better left side bend to start?
3) Right arm looks over folded at the top and ad a result does my left arm work too across my chest at the top of the swing?
4) Transition gets steep then i have a late body stall coming into impact causing my wrists to release.
Thank you and i welcome any feedback from the GSA community to improve.

Hi Peter,
Welcome to the site!
I like that you're taking a crack at identifying your main issues. Personally, I would start from impact and work backwards. So I'd start with identifying something to improve. Maybe a ball flight (hook, slice) or a contact problem (toe, heel, thin, fat) or a specific club (hit irons well, but struggle with the longer clubs).
What problem we face leaves some clues.
But I'll respond to your observations.
1 - I don't think your shoulders are too rounded, maybe a touch elevated, but looks like less than mine :) If you wanted to improve it, it normally comes from shoulder blade depression/arm connection
2 - Agreed, not a lot of side bend in the takeaway. Put that on the maybe list
3 - Agreed, folded and narrowed, so you could work on arm connection/width, which might help the set up look you don't like at the same time.
4 - Transition spinning/steepening I think is the biggest issue. Especially if you struggle with the driver. Steep early/shallow late usually causes the 2 way miss or one big miss.
Good luck, happy golfing!

Thank you for the pointers. I've ascribed to the 'get the chest open at impact" school of thought But clearly that causes my shoulders to spin in transition and ends up in throwing the shaft out. Just to make sure I'm 100% understanding your drills, the Jackson 5/hip bump in transition will naturally start to open the hips without consciously trying to force them or spin them open? Then for the arm movement, the back stays facing or closed to the target as the arms start to shallow then wipe? And then will the wipe plus ulnar unhinge will get the chest opening post impact?
Thank You!
