Hello, this is a FO vid of Mr hitting an 8 iron. I don’t have any speed.. Is the club open at the top? HackMotion says it’s to shut. How do I do the “motorcycle “? When? How much?

Hi Tim,
There are a few things to address in this post. To see if the club is open at the top, we'd usually have to look at a down-the-line (DTL) video, and probably with a better frame rate. It's hard to see the club face and the wrist position in your video. So if you do try a (DTL) video, try to film in the slow-motion setting and see if it's better.
The motorcycle can help get more ball speed, especially if your ball flight is more high, or thin, or right, but it usually doesn't add a lot of club head speed. But it does often support working on your sequencing, since using your body typically opens up the club face.
To your last question, "how do I do the "motorcycle"?" It's usually a movement of the wrists at the top of the swing or in transition, some people feel it more in the lead wrist and some people feel it more in the trail wrist. But to get it to work, you usually have to make sure the swing isn't too steep and that you're not swinging just with your arms. The steepness idea is also easier to see from DTL, so that's probably your next step.
Happy Golfing,
Tyler
