Motorcycle vs wipe (trail hand)

As I’m working on my swing sometimes I change between working on the motorcycle feel with the lead arm and the feeling of the trail hand and then wipe. I tend to hook the ball as a miss. Is there one that is better than the other for that? Here are a couple of videos. I’m working on not having reverse pivot and getting my overall swing plane more neutral. Thanks in advance

Hi Kenneth, As far as improving the hook, I'd look at impact and follow through. There is nothing in the first picture that screams, "I'm going to hook it". But the body stalls and the arms have a bit of a flip and chicken wing. All three of those close the face. Done correctly, the wipe would have a bigger influence on not hooking the ball. And done correctly, the wipe can make the motorcycle easier by helping the trail arm "thrower's catch" move. I'd focus on the wipe and follow through more than the motorcycle. Maybe 80/20. Happy Golfing, Tyler
